03 Oct World Sight Day
Once again here at Eyewise we are raising funds for a charity and this time it is for Optometry Giving Sight . We are taking part in The World Sight Day challenge which is next Thursday October 10th.
On this day we will be asking our patients to kindly make a donation , just giving £3 can help provide an eye exam and glasses to those in need. Harsh will be donating £1 for every eye examination that he carries out for the whole month of October so we are hoping to raise a good sum.
Optometry Giving Sight help to train local people to ensure that in time under served communities have access to high quality eye care from within. There is a severe shortage of eye care workers in the parts of the world where most needed.
There are over 600 million people in the world living as blind or vision impaired due to uncorrected vision.
So you can see how important the work is that Optometry Giving Sight does and why we are so keen to support them. So if you have any spare change in your pocket please drop in any time over the month of October and donate it to this very worthy cause.
