An Enhanced Service

All clients can benefit from opting to choose our enhanced eye care option, where we use modern, state-of-the-art technology to give our Opticians a better insight of the workings of your eyes. Machines such as an Optical Coherence Tomograph (“OCT”), and the Optomap Ultra-Widefield Scan are integral to help diagnose and monitor conditions such as Diabetes, Macular Degeneration and Glaucoma.
The scans are non-invasive and do not hurt. They are a bit like the eye’s version of an MRI scan, only that with an OCT scan, the detail is far greater.
