An Enhanced Service
A common item at the top of most of our clients’ list when they visit Eyewise is “Eye Health”.
All clients can benefit from opting to choose our enhanced eye care option, where we use modern, state-of-the-art technology to give our Opticians a better insight of the workings of your eyes. Machines such as an Optical Coherence Tomograph (“OCT”), and the Optomap Ultra-Widefield Scan are integral to help diagnose and monitor conditions such as Diabetes, Macular Degeneration and Glaucoma.
The scans are non-invasive, and do not hurt. They are a bit like the eye’s version of an MRI scan, only that with an OCT scan, the detail is far greater.
