Once again another school holiday has come round and here at Eyewise we will do our best to keep the children occupied with various fun activities during their visit.

We have various crafts for them to do which include making a pair of animal spectacles, a union jack windmill and mother’s day cards. We also have word searches and a spot the items within the practice game.There will be a ” Guess how much money ” in the jar game and the winner will win the jar and it’s contents. We did the same last year with a jar of sweets and it proved to be very popular.

We are also offering a ” Kiddie Map ” scan at a special half term/half price offer for the children during this week.This Optomap scan captures an image of over 80% of the retina compared to a conventional method that would only show 15%. It is used for early detection of any eye diseases or disorders. It was developed by a father whose child lost the sight in one eye due to an undetected retinal detachment.
