We were absolutely thrilled and delighted to receive a Gold Award certificate this week from Optometry Giving Sight.
This very worthy organization fund projects that will deliver eye care and low cost glasses to communities where these services do not exist. They are currently supporting projects in 27 different countries and for the first time one in Nepal .
In October 2013 we took part in their World Sight Day Challenge where thanks to donations from patients and also Harsh we raised the grand total of £310. Harsh donated money for each and every sight test that he carried out that month.
We have taken part in this challenge for the past few years but this is the first time we have received the Gold Award.In October this year we will be raising funds once again for them and it would be great if we could beat last years total.
So many thanks to any of our patients who helped us to reach this amount of money either by donating in Practice or by having a sight test in the month of October 2013.
