Eyewise’s Reflection of 2017 and Welcome to 2017

Eyewise’s Reflection of 2017 and Welcome to 2017

Another year has flown by at Eyewise, and this one has been both challenging and fruitful for us!

One of our biggest achievements was raising over £600 for our chosen charities: the Hillingdon Brain Tumour & Injury Group, Vision Aid Overseas, Macmillan Cancer Support and Fight for Sight.

On top of this, our team were shortlisted as finalists in the Optician Awards back in March for the category: Optical Team of the Year!

But most importantly, 2016 has been memorable as it marks the 20th anniversary of Eyewise Opticians!!

None of these achievements would have been possible without your continued support, generosity and loyalty over the years.

We are grateful and would like to take this opportunity to extend our sincerest thanks to you.

Here are a few snapshots of our proudest moments in 2016…

As you can see, we managed to hand out numerous cakes, tea and coffee, and successfully raised £215, with not a cake in sight by the end!
A thank you letter for our donation of over £90 towards the Hillingdon Brain Tumour Trust – every little helps!
Here’s Harsh completing his 31st half marathon and achieving a personal best running time! Thanks to you, we managed to raise £372 for his chosen charity, Fight for Sight.

The New Year is now here, and as most of you are aware, Harsh has taken on the mammoth task of doing a complete refurbishment and extension of the practice.

We are still running business as usual from our temporary premises: the Hillingdon Health Centre.
We look forward to welcoming you back soon to the brand new Eyewise Opticians- so make sure you keep an eye out for the official re-opening of our practice on Long Lane!
