Looking back…

Looking back…

December has been a busy month at Eyewise.

Although our clinics did not run to full capacity (so many people put off getting their eyes tested “until after Christmas”!), we were often catching up on administrative work that has got side-tracked over the year. Time to organise things for the new year ahead. It is also a time to have a clear-out of clutter that has built up throughout the year; sometimes it may be a case of renewing small items of furniture, or equipment. This year, we will be redecorating our test rooms and other parts of the practice, as some of the paintwork is looking a bit tired. During the festive period and a few days into the new year, we will have very limited clinics, so if you were thinking of having an eye test in the next few weeks, I would book a time slot as quickly as you can, for I expect the diary will be very full!

December is also a month when we look back at the year and acknowledge our hard work and achievements – for there are many!

A time when the Eyewise team gets together to celebrate the hard work. It is also a special time in life of Eyewise the business! As you read this blog post, Eyewise will be celebrating its very own birthday – 23rd to be precise! Yes, all those years ago, I took over the practice and started to build the business that is here today. The success would not have happened without the hard work, loyalty and support of not just the staff at Eyewise, and my own family, but importantly the support of thousands of customers over the years! Customers like you!

So as I take a little time to acknowledge the achievements over this year, and those of the last 23, I would like to extend my full appreciation to all of you out there that give me the motivation to continue to do the best for my clients! Thank you for being there when I needed you! Long may the Eyewise story continue!

Fitting at this time of the year, on behalf of all the staff at Eyewise, I would like to wish you and your loved ones a Very Happy Christmas, and Good Health and Happiness for the New Year! Looking forward to making many of you see 20-20, in 2020!

Adios!
